The WoW Festival presents the accomplishments of women* from different walks of life [WoW Awards] in the most diverse historic periods and places [A Path of Their Own]. Many of them had to leave their homes and, in addition to everyday challenges, engage in fierce struggles in order to find their place in the sun [Rooms of Their Own], whether they ended up going abroad [Metka, Meki] or coming here from foreign lands [Catastrophe Blues].
At the summer WoW Festival, the City of Women Association explores women’s lives and celebrates their accomplishments so that they inspire us here and now, teach us something new [Fierce Women] and, above all, bring us closer. Come visit!
The WoW Festival is part of the European Women on Women project co-funded by the Creative Europe Programme of the European Union. The festival is organised by the City of Women in cooperation with partner organisations Common Zone (Croatia), Tiiiit! Inc. (North Macedonia), and Outlandish Theatre Platform (Ireland).
*The term women also includes trans- and other non-binary persons.
Due to pandemic-related limitations, reservations are obligatory for all festival events. We are collecting reservations at email@example.com or by telephone: +386 (0)1 43 81 585.
